  • NICHE Event News: This Tuesday, the cannabis community and industry leaders are gathering in Toronto to delve into the questions and opportunities around cannabis legalization for black communities. It’s part of our new dialogue series that’s focused on bringing evidence-based cannabis education and grounded dialogue to various ethno-cultural communities in Canada.   • New data from Statistics Canada was released last week. It showed that sales at cannabis stores exceeded $100 million for the first time in July. The gains at cannabis stores were widespread, and across all provinces, with double-digit growth reported in eight provinces.
     

  • ICYMI: Québec doctors have a new tool at their disposal for learning about medical cannabis. Santé Cannabis has partnered with Spectrum Therapeutics to launch the Prescriber Training Program, designed to aid physicians and patients.
     

  • Research News: "A lot of eyes are on this country, so why not start turning out some research to see what are we doing right and what are we doing wrong?" St. Thomas University in New Brunswick is researching the effects cannabis legalization has had on society. The CBC has the details.
