Last week, NICHE opened a dialogue series with the FilipinX community about the cultural stigma around cannabis. The event was held in Scarborough, Ontario and the purpose was to discuss legalization from a social and public health perspective, and explore opportunities to engage with and participate in the developing cannabis space. Canadians bought $85 million worth of legal cannabis in May, $11 million more than April’s sales, figures released today by Statistics Canada show.
